I have a theory that our star might be older then what it is, but was rejuvenated through absorbing of materials from other celestial bodies.

According to what I saw about planets around binary stars, you need some specific conditions to have stable planetary orbits :
1) The stars are very close and the planets relatively far. The planet(s) been about 100 times farther from the stars than their separation. The planets are far enough that the pair of stars can be seen as a single object.
2) The stars are at a large distance from each other. The planets orbiting one of the stars no more that about 2%, maybe up to 3~3.5%, of the star's separation.


In both cases, it help if one of the stars is significantly smaller than the other, like an M class star orbiting a G class one.
