Welcome to my first look at the EnGenius Wifi 6 - 802.11ax access point, Engenius network equipment is well known throughout the industry with there access points and switches being used throughout business and large domestic installs. This is my look at the EWS850AP which is an outdoor wireless access point with amazing wifi coverage designed with WiFi 6 802.11ax built-in.
In this video, I show the unboxing of the EWS850AP also setting up using the EnGenius SkyKey.

I'd actually like to see access points coming out of the cloud. If the company goes away so does your device, not to mention the security and privacy issues. I'm only interested in this model because of the local UI.

so if I use a router in one building, I could potentially install this on remote building, use 1 antenna, 2.4 or 5, to connect to the router and wire to a switch, and use the other to share internet wirelessly in the yard in front of device? I bought a wifi6 router and the tp-link cpe510 will not connect to wpa3, and would have to lower security to continue to use these older devices and potentially could use this 1 to replace 2 older units, , ?? what i am hoping for, so can connect to security cameras in remote building, line of site, 300 feet away..

Network range is Very very low...
