This has always been my favourite dinosaur of all time. It’s claws, body, behaviour and the way it fought predators makes it so cool and there are other cool things about it as well, I’m glad it’s getting recognised after Dominion but I kinda hate how amazing and fascinating dinosaurs aren’t popular until Jurassic World adds them to the franchise. Though a lot of these Therizinosauruses look inaccurate but I get your just finding art to use as images, still I recommend using more accurate ones

I have always been fascinated by the subject of 'convergent evolution, ' and Therizionosaurus is but one example.  The 'lifestyle' and physical adaptations of the Therizionosaurus are essentially IDENTICAL to those of the mammal Chalicotheres, and the giant ground sloths like Megatherium.  The long arms, exaggerated claws, the vegetarian diet are all essentially IDENTICAL.  This suggests that this is an evolutionary 'niche' that is strongly 'selected' for by evolutionary processes.  There would still be a creature living this lifestyle TODAY, if not for extinctions brought about by humans (the last ground sloths were on the islands of Hispaniola and Cuba, surviving until just 2500 years ago).

Boy feathers have been found in therizenosaurus, also most of these images are inaccurate. Therizenosaurus wouldve had a back that was pointed upwards, not flat like a T-rex
