The WORST Blizzard In History

There are many costly and influential blizzards and snowstorms though recorded history. You might not know 7 of the 10 deadliest blizzards have been in the USA - with the Great Blizzard of 1888, 1966, and 1977 being especially important. But that does not mean the worst of all was American. In this video we look at two great snowstorms on other continents.

I am from Tehran and 75, every winter Tehran has a lot of snow. north and west iran have bitter cold snowy winters, in Iran Azerbaijan it often goes minus degrees centigrade in winter. when young they cancelled our military trip to Tehran northern villages because of frost bite in military tents. Watch this video from last week heavy snow in Rasht Iran: "The heavy snowfall in Rasht left me wading through knee-deep snow"

This was also fitting because in my area of The States were are expecting blizzard conditions Thursday. It's going to be -6F as a low (-21C) with a -30F windchill (-34C) the snow is only going to be 2 - 4 inches though...but it will be blowing all around...and impossible to measure. It's good to know it could be worse.
