Lucy I love your videos. I had this same issue a while ago but have gotten over it with the realization that all I am giving people is what they want in exchange for their money or other services. I look at it as nothing more than a business transaction. You have the ability to say NO and cancel whenever you want. That shift in thinking really helped me make it easier to feel less icky.

I think that thinking of yourself as a "salesman" is a real downer. But gaining confidence in yourself as someone who is really helping people makes a difference. And having excellent supporting materials is a big bonus. Scripts are important, but they need to be internalized so that they're a natural part of the conversation.

I’m not big on “selling”, but what I’ve realized is that I must sell. However, my passion for my service offerings, clients, etc. outweighs my loathing of hard core selling.
