the internet looks at something for 25 seconds then writes an essay about how they know the whole story and how awful it all is

Lawyers who KNOWINGLY help a client commit fraud can go to jail for just as long as the client. This is also an exception to attorney-client privilege.

You can draw two conclusions from these videos:

1. Get a dashcam
2. See previous conclusion

Personal injury lawyers also represent people who are the victims of insurance fraud so it's not like they're always representing the scammer 😂

These videos of people claiming insurance fraud only teach me one thing, get a high quality dash camera. Also remember that the camera footage can help or hurt your case so drive friendly.

It’s easy to say that personal injury lawyers are bad - until you need one.

If anyone thinks a victim is “in it for the money, ” that might be true sometimes. In our case, my wife and I would gladly give up all the money and more if it could somehow make it so that awful accident never happened.

I think “all police are bad” is a far more common take than you think my guy.

Honestly yeah sometimes people don’t know how some things work so they make assumptions based off of the limited information they have in their tiny little echo chamber of media

The logic with police misconduct is the Thin Blue Line. They look out for and protect each other.

Here in Louisiana, we had a bunch of corrupt lawyers staging accidents for the insurance payout.
Something like 52 people indicted, lawyers + stagers.

Those two videos dont show lawyers doing bad things

I had an attorney who sucked every single penny out of the woman who hit me that there was to be had. She worked HARD for me. So I have NO PROBLEM that she had a payday, too. She earned it!

So I'd NEVER accuse all accident lawyers of being crooked. Lies about attorneys only have a place in JOKES. But we really, really need them.

As someone who believes ACAB, I absolutely recognize that insurance fraud is not anywhere near as endemic as police corruption and abuse.

I'm onboard with 'all police are bad', but not onboard with all lawyers are helping with insurance fraud.

It's pretty bold of you to assume people are thinking.

i dont think those are comparable because the idea that all police are bad isnt based on how they operate as an individual but how they act as part of the network. a police officer could be an amazing person and fair to everyone they interact with, but they're likely to take it easy on their fellow cop for example. this can cause to a bit of a knock on effect leading to echo chambers and bias becoming more extreme. a police officer could go into the job as a good person but the longer they are in those circles the more susceptible they are to bias. they might not be capable of murder or excessive violence & as a person they probably think its wrong, but many are capable of excusing and defending it when someone like them & their friends is on the other end of the gun

Yes insurance fraud happens. My dog a little Pug mix bit a friend and she actually wanted me to help her sue me and give me half the money 💰.
I said Helll no, im not committing insurance fraud for you and then I reported it to my insurance company.

Of course insurance fraud happens, ppl are going to ppl.

But

It’s no where near as common as ppl like to believe.

I think we have to look at this from an even bigger perspective. I would argue that the way some accident lawyers sell themselves, has directly or indirectly led many in society to try to get into an accident. An increasingly litigious society attempting insurance fraud.

I do think that cops aren’t the best example he could have given to prove your point, especially in America. The job of a lawyer is to defend and accurately present the case of their client. They are not only not related to the crime their client was accused of most of the time, but they might sometimes even concede to the jury that their client is guilty. The job of a cop is to reduce crime and protect civilians from violence related to criminal activity. Not only have there been cases where the cops have committed crimes to either harm or kill suspects or frame them, but they are also a significant factor in civilian casualties, especially in car chases. ACAB doesn't mean that every single cop is evil but is more meant as the general sentiment that cops tend to be prejudiced and are there to protect the status quo rather than civilians.
