Isn't the Sonos a single speaker setup (while you can opt for two), while the KEF is a dual-speaker config by design? If so, that doesn't seem like an apples to apples comparison.

Mid range and treble is tilted up a bit, so a more brigter exciting listen for sonos

I have both as a stereo pair and the sonos sounds much better as a pair plus they cost the same as kef. Plus the kef needs a sub.

Why would there be a comparison multi-speaker setup vs a single setup. This is like comparing a theater system to a Bluetooth speaker.

Kef: More refined, precise less Boxy, fast propagation, better imaging. Sonos: Boxy, congested, less defined, thumpy, Upper midrange xover points missing, smeary, proprietary.
