Nice video, great quality well done!
Just bought second hand LS50W ii with matching stands. LS60 was the plan but my wife really did not like them in our living room. The 50's on stands in satin white she likes. Plan is to sell all Sonos surround set up and go for the KC62 sub.

What might be your choice between 50 with a sub or the 60 without a sub?

Great video. You can get the original LS50s for cheap on the used market. I bought pair for 500 euros. And I got a deal on a 1500 euro Roksan K3 for 500 euros. Then I bought a Chord Mojo DAC for 200 euros. Overall I think it's a superb system for around 1000 euros.

What is the track in the beginning of the test?

LSX 2 with subwoofer will beat LS50 w2 without subwoofer in sub bass performance. But how else will it compare?

I mean, the LS60 are certainly the best of that lineup, but they also cost $7k USD, which is, well, a lot. They're convenient because you don't have any additional receiver or amplifier to deal with, which saves you money, in a way, and they sound fantastic even without a sub, which isn't something I can say for the LS50 and LSX series, which are competent but still require additional bass reinforcement. Basically, of this lineup, the only speaker I'd be interested in owning would be the LS60. Personally, though, I'd probably just buy something else and a streaming amp so I don't need to bother with wireless active speakers, but I understand that not everyone is as willing to keep around a large amplifier to power their speakers. The LS60 are also the ultimate in minimalist design, so they are ideally suited for people who have a mid-century modern minimalist design and want to have as few large electronic boxes cluttering up their furniture as possible.

I know people love the LSX series and LS50 Wireless series, but every time I've heard them I've been disappointed. They just have more treble gain than I can handle given the amount of bass they put out. They aren't nearly as ice-pick like as some of B&W stuff or Klipsche stuff can be, but they're far more fatiguing compared to the LS60, which are tuned quite a lot more like my current speakers, which are the KEF iQ90 from the early 2000's. Apparently they can't do what they did for the LS60 in any smaller of an enclosure, though, since the DSP is already required to cope with the lack of cabinet space for the four high-excursion Uni-Core drivers (two paired drivers, four effective drivers). So an LS50 with Uni-core drivers will never happen, unfortunately.

what is better "kef lsx II" or "harman kardon citation duo mkiii" ?

I wonder, why the speakers are so close to the wall? When all the “information” states speakers shouldn’t be close to the wall. Is this just “shop display position”?

When will the LS60 be in stock and ready for purchase ?? (In grey!)

Is the LS50 Wireless II seriously this much better sounding than LS60, also in real life? I love the openness of the vocals compared to the LSX II and LS60. I own and listen to this video through a pair of LSX II and can clearly hear a huge difference between LS50WII and the other two. If this is how they actually sound, I think LS50WII is way better than the LS60.

Are the ls50w2 made of wood and do they sound warm? I really like Sonos but not the “harsh sound”..

is there any way to incorporate a centre channel speaker with any of these ?

Seeing these all side by side is very helpful! I just ordered the LS50 wII for a desktop but really starting to think I might repurpose them and get the LSX for the desktop (computer workstation) simply due to physical size.

LS60’s with a C62 powered subwoofer in a huge room and 20 ft tall ceiling. That’s my stereo. I use an Apple iPad and Tidal Connect. Wireless. Rock solid. In fact they play any genre with spectacular accuracy. Tidal premium gets you access to millions of choices of music. They are 1m away from back wall and 1m from side surface which are windows. Approx 10-15 degree toe in.

LS 50 W2 sounds better than LS60 W2 in tes of medium and high frecvency . Amd If you add a SUB the sound of LS 50 W2 is brilliant. I compared also on vinyl sound . LS 50 W2 all the day especially if you compare the lrice tag . Can you confirm this ?
