In earier episodes of this series I've looked into PLA and 87% recycled PLA, as well as two completely biodegradable compostable filaments.

In this episode, I'll be pitching them against each other to see how they each perform in strength, flexibility, accuracy, detail, and texture.

Thank you for your valuable videos regarding biodegradable filaments! It makes 3D printing feel better.
What kind of printer did you use and have you experienced something like grinding from the extruder? I have a Prusa Mini and thinking of replacing the extruder with a Bondtech.
And an idea: how do parts printed with the degradable filaments look when buried in the soil for a longer period of time? That would be a long-term test of degradability. : )
Anyway, thanks again for your effort and I'm looking forward to more videos!

Thank you very much for looking in depth into the subject of biodegradability. I'm researching to maybe start 3D printing on my own, but producing all this plastic "waste" for the future is a huge turn off for me. Whats your experience on the fumes and ventilation with these filaments? Is it still a big no to print without proper air conditioning?
