I found a model on Makerworld that I’d like to print, but the person who created it uses PETG. I’ve already bought some PLA and I’d like to know if I can use it instead. Do I need to change any settings, or does the Bambu Lab A1 Mini handle everything automatically? Thanks in advance!

Anyrhing meeting water ( eg planter, aquarium paets, washers) needs petg...or abs. If you want outdoor parts, get UV petg filament

Say you require both strength of outdoor application and impact. And the beauty and astetic quality. Needed for its character, and appeal. What kind of filament is there that does both

PLA parts will relax after about a year when stressed. For example I use press fitted magnets in my designs. With PLA the magnets will be loose after a year. PETG will still be tight after a year.

PLA might be biodegradable but PLA filament is *not*, because of the additives (mostly toxic though some companies offer non toxic).
