In this weeks video we explore a wonderful colonial cottage style tiny house which has amazingly been built for only NZ$8000 (US $5000). This creative tiny house has been constructed almost entirely out of reclaimed and recycled materials and the end result is a tiny home with some big style!

All throughout, this tiny house has been styled to resemble a turn-of-the-century colonial cottage and is packed full of wonderful historical treasures. This is a great example of what can be done to create a truly affordable tiny house using salvaged materials and a lot of hard work!

Enjoy the full tour of this stunning tiny home.

I absolutely love all the creativity that has gone into Keith and Jen's wonderful cottage-style tiny house build. It really goes to show what's possible with a limited budget, but unlimited creativity and hard work. I hope you all enjoy this weeks video! Love Bryce & Rasa

Kieth has a wonderful, dry sense of humor. Jen has gems of wisdom. Lovely couple! The house has so much character. I love it!

Let me help put Bryce and Rasa into perspective for all the internationals. Here in Australia and New Zealand, the "Tiny House Movement" is well and truly in it's infancy. Whereas, USA/Canada are far more advanced and laws are being rewritten to validate "Tiny Houses" as a legitimate dwelling. Now, more than ever as the world dips into recession, the Tiny House Movement is should be more legitimate than ever before. People like Bryce and Rasa help push the movement and showcase Aussie and Kiwi's who are ahead of the curve..This channel is more important than most, and deserves all the support in the world. I believe, even if you have no interest in living in a tiny home, the storage ideas for smaller apartments (I live in 452 square feet) are so innovative. Thanks again Bryce and Rasa for another quality video and introducing us to another inspirational human being..

I don't know why but the fact that Keith had that sign up there and mentioned what an inspiration your videos were to him, made me tear up. I, too, feel like you guys have influenced a lot of people in favor of the tiny house movement, because of all of the great, high quality content you put out. I found this channel last year, and have never missed a video ever since. One day, I hope I can have a tiny house of my own to call home.

My favourite part "Jen thought I needed a project". :-)

I have watched other "tiny home" programs, but I keep coming back to "living big in a tiny house." It flows better and is more engaging.

This gentleman can look at anything discarded and turn it into magic. This place looks like it's been there for a very very long time and that is true artistry. Thank you Bryce and Rasa

"There's the other half of the suitcase from the submarine" - a sentence that you will never hear on any other YouTube channel.

I love Keith! He has quite a sense of humor. The ability to create such a beautiful house out of other people’s rubbish is rare these days. Great video.

There is a mutual recognition between Keith and Bryce that is lovely to watch. And I love how Keith's answer to most of the questions is that he is basically cheap. While we have seen many stunning tiny houses on this channel, this episode has made me feel particularly happy. Thank you.

This house is so plain on the exterior that it was a big surprise to see the beauty of the interior. Reminds me of the adage, "Don't judge a book by its cover."

For some reason that I can't name, this is one of my absolute favorite tiny houses that I have ever seen. It has a positive spirit I would guess.

Bryce you have such a way with people, it's was nice seeing you two talk & laugh like old buddies. That's much of why we keep watching, it's not just a tour but you pull a story out of the home owner with curiosity & sincerity. You have a gift, thank you & thank you Rasa for filming, your job is just as important.

Bryce: This roof is lower than usual
Kieth: Its build for my height
Bryce: Brilliant idea
Kieth: I was just been cheap

While the house is a tiny marvel, what really stands out in both this and the submarine episode is Keith himself.
This man is so chill, so funny yet so humble although he has those clever "think outside the box" ideas.
His sense of humor is just spot-on, hilarious. He also is absolutely right. You and Rasa are inspiring.

It’s hilarious and adorable how passionate Bryce is about tiny houses, yet he struggles to stand straight in 70% of them 😂😂❤️❤️
