Only a small handful of LEGO Minifigures have printed ears and noses. Other LEGO Minifigures have specialty molded heads that feature these facial features, but this hasn’t always been the case. Let’s explore the evolution of noses on LEGO minifigures and I’ll also highlight some interesting facts on minifigure ears throughout the years. Has LEGO been adding more ears and noses to new minifigures lately? Let’s find out.

Ears have also been implied by the first Minifigure Hairpieces, which always had a cutout for them.

Most minifigs with noses/ears seem to be licensed characters so it would be weird for them not to have noses

It will always disturb me that LEGO decided to show that Voldemort has no nose, by giving him a nose. Just. WHY?!

It's been a treat to see all that Lego has accomplished and improved on.

The Lego gru mini figure doesn’t have a nose even though in the movie he does have a nose

6:28 I don't think they really would since the figures look too cartoony for modern Technic sets, which are trying to look more realistic, and yes, I know what Speed Champions is, in that theme, the minifigures still look too cartoony for their cars.

I would love to see a future LEGO Batman Penguin figure using the Pinocchio head to give him a more recognizable look (and also remember that the character isn't always short, just the Batman Returns Devito Penguin)

7:43 That's not a nose on the right. That is a mouth and a soul patch or some such beard under it.

Are the patent posters originals? Because I got the brick one for my cousin for Christmas and it looked a lot like it.

The cop/surfer minifig head with the sunglasses is, in my opinion, the first one with an implied nose.

Lego knows! Jk but seriously I would like the minifigures to have more articulation rather than worry about head molds.

I had so much fun with those Technic figures: I'd love to see them come back. As for Voldemort, he has nostrils, but no nose. This is visible in the movie screenshot you posted, and every Voldemort figure has the same, except for the Dimensions one, which has nothing printed there at all.

The Jack Stone minifigures also have noses and ears!

I just need to hint those weird minifigs from lego series like jack stone and 4+ pirates from around that time. Those figurines had noses and even ears, but you know, you can think of them much like most People think about minidolls from friends series.

I found a mistake in the X-Mansion set. In the first instruction booklet, on page 142, step 129, it calls for 2 window pieces but you need 4.
