How to use duoCo Strip app with RGB LED Bluetooth Receiver

Using these controllers for a few projects, found no good informative guides on how to use these and the rating on the app store is appaling since its not very straight forward if you dont know how to use it

Congrats for the video. Unfortunately I have a problem with this DuoCo Strip app. I practically don't see any devices in the app. I uninstalled and reinstalled but nothing. I tried turning off my electric scooter and turning it back on but nothing changes. Strangely enough the first time I used the app it worked.

Mine doesnt connect to bluetooth, its on the wall and the remote doesnt work either but i know the lights work cause when i touch the strips the light show

can you cut it off and just have one strip on one wall? also does it always need to be connected to power supply, as when i plug it to itself it doesnt work

Mine turns itself off after like 15 minutes or so, I haven’t put it on a timer, it just turns off.
Any ideas why this would be happening?
