Can't focus on the video/content because of the low volume, and it fluctuates as you move away form the mic. Amplifying the audio by 10-15 dB solves the issue.

I retired at 38, rarely working for anyone before then. I was an English major and didn't like working normal jobs, so I saved much of what I earned from my first normal job to buy into opportunities. I bought a shack and fixed it up to rent to deer hunters from Japan. I saved rental earnings, then sold the shack and invested in natural gas and oil at the right times (last year I received a 17 fold return on investments I made 5 years earlier). Anyway, learning to code is interesting because I want to use it so that I can work less and make more. But first, I may invest in rental properties while I can get a tax break on some of my capital gains. The rental properties will likely appreciate while pulling down income. I'm too stupid to do more than one project at a time and will work on coding only after my capital is secure and working for me. I'm an expert in a certain field in the arts, but it has been my side projects in fields about which I'm largely ignorant, as mentioned above, that have made me money. (A lot of luck, I admit.)

I was learning programming and liked it but at some point I got bored and I lost my interest in it. Maybe because I was doing some hobby staff only all the time and never worked in it.

One thing you skipped is the most well paid languages. Zig, Erlang, and F# were the Top 3 but there are like 14 professional devs in those languages in the entire world. Therefore number 4 is the most well paid, widely used language in the world. It is Ruby!

If you look at the stats the established (older) crowd "Professional Developers" and the upcoming people (younger) "Learning to code", spells a lot, it shows the shifts in cultures. The number of LGBTQ identifying is increasing in society, as well as the number of Asians learning to code.

Saw this survey, rather questionable in many ways- among others was biased towards soc media users ( as a function of time available for example). I would take the results of this survey with a bag of salt.
