This is so misleading, i have the same grip and the key to it is that your pinky gives you more stability and mobility at the back of the mouse, where when the pinky is at the front it literally does nothing that the ring finger can't do by itself.

I guess I'm Shroud. My pinky does the same when I grip my mouse. Same with ring finger. His pointer and middle finger are more raised. Thanks for the vid Ron!

it's about the mouse sliding on the mousepad, it's not about how you hold the mouse, but since you're not a fps game, how do you know you have more precision if the mouse doesn't slide quickly

my grip is similar but i fully bend my pinky so the smallest knuckle is on the mouse pad and my ring finger is almost wrapping in front on the mouse
