Shroud said it himself, he’s not really a competitive person. When esports and streaming really started to take off he wanted to be like summit with a popular stream playing whatever he wanted. He loves playing games and is incredible at FPS games. He’s just not a competitive diehard.

Shroud was never close to simple in any aspect of the game. It‘s easy to see that - he was never feared by his peers in Fnatic/TSM and so on. If he would have been „a mechanical demon“ he would have been feared in EU at the time
