The art of copy is, how can i say this in the least amount of words and still make it grab attention, keep attention, and get the outcome I’m looking for.

The first one is a real thing if you are not always curious about finding more don't even think about succeeding

My problem was not setting realistic scope and getting into a article when I’m better at 500-1000 words. I didn’t communicate this when a client purchased a 1500 word article and turned it into 5000. 😬😬😬

I think my only issue with those would be the last one, I've always been a huge procrastinator, not just when it came to school work or studying for exams, but in general. I either have always left things until the last moment, OR I'd end up going past the due date (the latter though has almost always been for things in life unrelated to school). I am just trying to be genuinely honest with myself even though more and more i have started to become interested in copywriting. So i am afraid maybe i wouldn't be able to do it ☹️. The only thing i would say that would "save" me from this fault, is that I don't think i would procrastinate with anything that would negatively impact my livelihood, because I would deeply understand the consequences. You only get so many screw up before you would get fired. But here is the other side of that problem, while yes when I get to my work place I am the kind of person that starts immediatley and rarely stops until i'm done, i am not someone who likes to take work home at all. I am very VERY hardline about that, i like to keep the two thing seperate and distinct. I am very disciplined, diligent, and have a very good work ethic when at the work place but for me home is home and work is work. Whatever the issue is, it can wait till the morning. And unfortunately for me, I'm afraid that this is a type of profession where you have to make the sacrifice of bringing work home at times along with also sometimes doing work on the weekends. This is honestly the bigger fear i have that continuosly makes me hesitste in taking the plunge into this field.

I completed the course and I now understand that it was made with content writing in mind and not copy. Quite interesting.

Copywriting is when a writer is crafting material for marketing, advertising, or purpose of sales. You are essentially getting inside the mind of the B2B or B2C to psyche them into purchasing a product.

Versus Contentwriting is more of a "pre-requisite" where you craft long form blogs, articles, emails, etc. It's using story telling in a way that captivates the reader and generates more likes and follows than someone actually buying a product (like you would with real copywriting).

Just thought I'd through that out there seeing as it was something I literally just learned today.

Now is this to say that you can't use the skills that she teaches in her course for copy? No, because both require research, a little psychology, and well writing.

But I do think it's important to emphasize the difference.

Researching what exactly?
I’m looking in to copywriting and as a pre-beginner, …I don’t know exactly what ‘research’ means. Could someone please explain a little more about this, please??😊

Would you find this similar to writing research papers in school? Or persuasive essays? I used to LOVE researching and finding my sources, especially when it was a topic I was interested in. But even when it was something brand new to me, I thoroughly enjoyed the task of researching and then writing/presenting my findings.

Would the copy/content writing world be a good place for me?

(I literally had no idea this existed. I thought the only way I might use my love for English or Literature was to be a teacher of the same thing. My eyes are opening at 40, that I might be able to get paid to write! Something I'd only dreamed of.)

What sort of qualifications do you need to be a copywriter? Would someone be able to break into the biz with no prior experience but still has the skill an know how?

I remember this woman's face from Fiverr ten years ago. She was actually using her real face in the Fiverr thumbnail but you always assume it's probably some dude that stole her photo.
