You know a doctor only cares about the money when she tells you to "tune in next episode" to see how to potentially save your life from a tick bite.

FABULOUS! She's going to talk about it "next time" and here I am with a tick attached me as I type this; hoping she's going to explain how to take it off... time to look for a new video. Wish me

Good coverage, but I wish she would have showed how to remove them and not wait till another day, I think that was was a silly thing to do .

Tick rashes rarely look like a bullseye when there even is a rash at all.

During our 2022 Rides, we did not encounter any tics, however in 2021, we had a few.
We Always Check our selves after each ride.
And use some sort of Repellant.
We most of the time forget to bring any, it's on our mental list of things to bring, but we forget.

"Awright, so what do these little..little insects look like?"
They AREN'T INSECTS!!! They have 8 legs, not 6; they're arachnids, like spiders and mites.
I attribute the lack of correction from the Dr. as being due to known tight time constraints on this sort of TV segment.
– Wait – the Dr. then responds that they have 6 little legs. This while the image of them with 8 legs each, is shown. Inexcusable!

There was also no mention of serious diseases spread by other varieties of tick, such as Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever.

They live well into December. Even in Canada ! -10 Celsius and we still have ticks !

I love how she used a fancy scientific word when she could have just said “It looks like a bullseye” instead of needing the interviewer to translate.

This year ticks are so bad because at the end of 2017 we did not have a winter. ticks are ridiculously thick this year. I cannot even step outside my own house without picking up these biting little freaking hitchhikers!!! This month alone I told nearly a hundred ticks off of me most of them having latched on. Out of all the tick bites I have received this year alone and to previous years not once have I ever gotten the bullseye rash or any other symptoms from tick bites aside from a raised itchy dot. In fact I now have an empty dr. Pepper bottle in my car each and every time I pull a tick off of me while in my car I stop, open up the bottle and deposit the little biter inside. it's my portable tick collection

Ticks can be active all year round. And will be active down to 0 degrees F.
The proTick remover is one of the best removers there is...
Do not use the type of tick remover like the ones at wally's world.... the pinch point is too wide and will squeeze more tick body fluids into you... You are better off cutting a narrow Vslit into a grocery store discount card, like a credit card than using a Wal' Mart style tick remover.

Wait til next segment to learn how to remove them??? That takes very little time and is a ploy to keep you watching while you have a captive audience. Shame on her. I googled it and got a video.
