Also that attack that I did is the unique standing blocking combo that the weapon has. It's specifically made to build combo.

We also have things like the broken war which are supposed to be early/barely midgame. Which ends up being a top tier sword. But taking into account that you can get Azothane in what? 5 runs of duviri and a good roaming sessions to craft it. And then get a free build in the circuit. funny weapon

By DE's logic, after this they'll announce in few devstreams that melee weapons will need another nerf. And incarnon weapons, too. Oh, and then silently make eximus enemies immune to more warframe abilities, making the playable pool on high levels even smaller.

Funny because it kinda sucks ass in Duviri, it hits way too slow to be any good. The cold proc from the power strike is alright, but if you get Luscina’s Suffering then it gets outclassed.

The Syam is quite effective since it can apply slash procs to stagger enemies and the power strike can lift enemies followed by a knockdown, allowing you to hit them with a powerful attack.

I like that Warframe now allows newer players with less than 200 hours to play alongside 4000 hour Vets and still have fun and contribute meaningfully to the squad in terms of damage and objectives, gone are the days of consigning them to Nekros, Rhino or Octavia.

Fun fact: the azothane-specific combo slam will proc things like the Tek mod set and suck enemies in when triggered within it's radius, but didn't (before his rework) proc Hydroid's tentacle-spawn-on-slam passive. I found it kinda weird

I remember whenever I started playing (really recently) I was told the dex nikana was the best melee I was gonna get for a while. Then I was bored of it and tried looking for other stuff. I couldn't get it at the time but I remember the azothane was one I immiediently realized was just a lot better lmao
