Warlock: Res - Dis/Rec - Mob/Str - Int
Hunters: Res/Mob - Dis/Rec - Str - Int
Titans: Res - Str/Rec - Dis - Mob - Int

Additional tip for hunters: lightweight frame weapons add +20 to mobility stat while out as well.

You’re seriously one of the most (if not the most) helpful content creators out there. Thank you for all the time and effort you put into these videos: we really appreciate it!

Just today, I finally made a build for my voidwalker with tier 10 resil and discipline with tier 6 recov all while having weakening grenades. It feels real good with devour.

If possible on Hunter you’d want 23 dis 23 res and 11 or more in mobility on all your armor. Obviously on your class item it doesn’t work like that so throw whatever on that you need. With the perfect armor you won’t need powerful friends and you can either spec into mobility or recov. :)

We need a buff to Mobility lol, resilience is mostly for titan, recovery for warlock, but mobility??

G-Man, Thanks for your hard work and extremely informative vids. I’m always looking for a better way to survive on all my characters in PVE and you never disappoint and always spot on. Short and sweet and easy to understand.

Solar Hunter, Young Ahamkara's Spine: 100 Res 107 Disc and 71 Mob, that's WITH Empyrean and with the optimal gear stat mods that I can fit into my Young Ahamkara's Spine Build. I've 25 Rec 18 Int and 33 Str.

The way I factor in how to improve on this when I'm farming for gear: I add the three stats I WANT (Hunter being Res being the MUST and Disc/Mob being both somewhat equal imo) into one sum and compare to the sum of those desired stats I currently have. If the new piece is a higher number, its technically an upgrade, regardless of the total amount of points on the gear. As was stated in a comment below a piece of gear with 60 pts total may be vastly better than a 68; it depends on the stat distribution. Generally (again, imo) any piece of gear that rolls with a DESIRED stat distribution of 52 or higher, before adding stat mods is going to be a winner. It becomes even more convoluted however, when you get to near that third 100 ESPECIALLY for Hunters due to bucket RNG.

Take the following example: I now have to figure out the sums of the stats I DON'T want on gear (in this case Rec, Int, Str) and try and roll for less of those with Eris BUT even if something is technically an upgrade of my TOTAL three desired stats, it may end up knocking down my Dis/Res from 100. So the way I look at my gear as it is right now (all masterworked, accounting for the additional plus two to all stats) is that I have 7 wasted Disc points, 6 wasted Int points, 13 wasted Rec points, and 21 wasted Str points. This tells me that my priority is to farm for new pieces with an undesirable stat total of 21 less Str points and/or 13 less Rec and/or 6 less Int points with an allowance to also lose 7 disc total. Basically looking for drops that have 2 in each undesired stat (before masterwork; 4 after master work).

BLUF: For trip 100's, assuming no + or - Combat Style mods/+ or - fragments, a desirable gear stat distribution should have at least 22 in the Armorer Ghost governed points, 22 in another of the SAME stat in the other bucket and a combined total of 38 of the third stat across head, chest, arms and legs. This will bring you to a total of 88 and 38 respectively and the masterworking of all 5 pieces will make you hit 100 in your first two desired stats. You will need to stack five 10+ mods on each of the pieces, including your class item.

Boom. Trip 100's without any Combat Style mods.

TL:DR; Add the 3 stats that you want together, if its higher than what you currently have its probably an upgrade.

The irony of my situation is that I could have trip 100's right now if I ditched Empyrean, slotted a Mob mod where a Res mod is currently and put on Powerful Friends. I'm trying my darndest to hit an organic trip 100 though.

Strongly suggest you check out these two vids in this order, and it'll explain buckets and efficient stat farming methods. Some dude named @gmeiners (:p) put together some very instructive stuff about what stats should be targeted for which class/build/playstyle.

(Final note: fitting in the exotic can be a giant PITA because Master/Legend Lost Sector exotic drops don't care about the Armorer Ghost mod. Buckle down and grind!)

did anyone notice how bungo nerfed crafted weapons leveling, now shuro chi like dim shows gives partial progress for example 71.4%, you need 3 ads for 1% kill where previous season 1 kill was 1%. next this week all patrols you take in leviathan give zero progress on crafted weapons level. last week they went so fast. dont know if its classic bungo bugs or classic bungo nefs. like those imbeciles deleted taken mods and disabled cheeseforever all old armor. 300 pieces. this is respect for your wasted time in that stupid game. we should sue bungo

Thanks so much I’ve changed my build to 53 mobility I know it’s kinda low for a Hunter but it’s alright then 100 resilience and recov then trying to turn my 73 intellect to get 100 disipline

Thank you for making the graphs much more understandable. Top notch work. I've seen some graphs from others but yours drive the point much better to me.

Thanks for doing this

Oh and use D2 armor picker to get the best stat distribution!

Thanks for the video man! I was curious what the cool down time was for rift per recovery tier so having the numbers is very nice! It’s interesting how there is a larger jump from tier 7 to tier 8 recovery than the other tiers around it.

Let's push Gmeiners up to the top you guys, he's got it going on. And thanks for the Resilience chart bro.

And this week's Sever is "bugged" again. If you pick up the scythe, any kill you get with it will ruin the run as those count as solar kills and not arc.

I didn't even know the chest armor mods were reduced with Protective Light!
The fact that the chest mods are still viable, but much less protective may explain why the sniper and melee resist mods feel like they're not doing anything (even at two each).
Glad I found this video while learning to play Hunter. Being a Warlock-main who lived off of resil and recov has turned my head around with mobility.
