One of the best videos on the subject. You dropped science on us here. I was not aware that some exotics had intrinsic stat defaults.
A suggestion for the next video would be to talk about all the materials needed to get a masterwork piece of armor, as the +2 to each stat helps reach those higher tiers. Where to get them, drop rates from activities, what deals are the best from Master Rahool, vendor drops of materials, whatever else you notice.

Ive always heard about this "stat bucket" thing but never really understood what it meant till this video. Also for anyone reading, DIM is insanely helpful to sort out the best combinations of the armor pieces you have

It's better to use the single engram for armor focusing - they still roll high stats and you can't get the class item so nothing is wasted and you can get twice as many drops. Also you said the first Ghost encounter is farmable for artifice armor but you can only get artifice armor from Ecthar and Simmumah. Opening doesn't drop any.

And an other time to farm for good armor rolls is the Solstice Event, following those steps you can guarantee an armor roll with 20 in one side of the bucket and one with 10 in the other

Just want to mention last wish is the current weekly. And if you know how to cheese kalli it takes less than 2 minutes to kill her, combined with the map teleport right before the checkpoint. This week is the best week to farm easy engrams
