I remember reading somewhere that on average whites are predisposed towards physical endurance (IE, marathons) whereas blacks are more suited to bursts of excellence (sprinting). Really easy to find counterexamples, but what I couldn't find was any research to support or refute the idea of the general trend existing or not. It makes me wonder how much we are blinding ourselves to how our bodies work because we don't want to conduct research that could offend someone.
