What Happened To Every #1 Pick Since 2000?

With the 2024 NFL Draft quickly approaching towards the end of April I figured it would only be right to see what happened to every #1 NFL pick since the year 2000 up until 2023. Some of these draft picks turned out great for the respective teams that took them and others would turn into some of the biggest busts in NFL history.

Y'all really missed out not getting to see Prime Michael Vick. Dude had a run game like Justin Fields with a 80 yard missile arm like a Josh Allen. Soooo much fun to watch. All these running QB's are eating now because of this guy.

My favorite Jamarcus Russell story is when the Raiders coaches suspected he didn’t watch film so they sent him home with blank tapes and asked him if he watched the footage the next week and he answered yes 😂

Bro said nothing about burrow leading the bengals to the Super Bowl

I really appreciate the choice of words in saying Michael Vick made the worst decision instead of mistake. He knowingly and willingly did those things, it wasn’t an accident and using the right words is important in my opinion

In my opinion, Matthew Stafford is a REALLY underrated QB. He didn't have a lot of playoff success but his regular season numbers aren't too bad especially when he had Calvin Johnson

If Joe Namath can be in the HOF you have to add Eli to the HOF

Alex Smith is a fighter! Big ups to his daughter! I also had a brain 🧠 tumor.

As a Dolphins fan, i loved Andrew Luck as a QB. Indy did not protect that mann. He took a beating but still played his ass off. And the fans did him wrong by booing him on his way out. He deserved a better offensive line and a ring.

Carson Palmer was one of those players that if a few more things would have gone right would be considered a legendary player. His career was just snakebit.

I glad you called Rams patriots a casual fans nightmare. A close game that’s controlled by the defenses is still a good game. Casuals just wanna see TDs and crazy plays and when I went to school on that Monday, I knew who the casuals were when they said that was a crappy game. Glad you called it out

Alex Smith is a true fighter! Huge props to his daughter for supporting him through it all. I can relate—I've been through a brain tumor myself, and it’s an incredibly tough journey.

I can't believe Andrew Luck played with a torn right labrum. Also you missed that Burrow made it to the SB.

As a 49er fan I always liked Alex Smith. He was atrocious as a rookie but got better every year. Year two a 62 yard block by Alex Smith won them a game against Arizona to put them into playoff contention given a terrible division. If it wasn't for an absolutely incredible muffed punt he would've lead us to the Super Bowl, had a good chance to win it given the opponent and would've continued his very good play with Harbaugh's scheme. (That's no shot at Kap as he played as well as he possibly could have those two following years). His comeback following that injury was nothing short of incredible. Niner's did him wrong and I'll say that as a fan. Hats off to that guy both on and off the field.

Colts fans are a disgusting group for how they treated Luck when he retired

It just proves a QB just needs the right system to have success

I relate so much with Alex smith. I got a deadly staph infection in my leg and even died for nearly ten minutes. They told me I wouldn’t walk again and here I am, I am walking and working hard with my company as a landscaping foreman and snow removal. I thank god for everything

Eli was one of the few people to beat Tom twice and in his day when it mattered most you could count on him. My favorite thing to hear at the time as a giants fan was on nfl network.. and Deion sanders during the highlights of the giants would randomly shout I believe in Eli!!!! Was he messing around sure did he truly believe in Eli, at the time yes he did and his word I’ll take any day because that man’s a legend.

It’s funny how quickly the world has changed, even since Reggie Bush. His “character issues” are now completely acceptable, as they should be, and no team would consider taking a RB number 1.

The video quality is hilarious. It's amazing how fast technology moves.
