No one is ever going to believe this, because it usually never happens but we made a mistake... we had the score of the Bengals Chiefs AFC Championship as 24-21 when the score was in fact 27-24! Our bad!

Imagine your team showing up in this video, that would suck, losing a Superbowl. Glad that Detroit is undefeated in Superbowls.

This is why losing the Super Bowl is devastating: you never know when you'll get back there.

This really puts in perspective how resilient the 90s Bills were to make it 3 times in a row after losing

The worst of these teams is the 2002 Oakland Raiders. They’ve only had two winning seasons since 2002, haven’t won a playoff game since the 2002 AFC Championship against the Titans, and now are in a completely other city.

The Super bowl did most of the damage to my Falcons, but what really did us in was the next year against the Eagles in the playoffs. We had 5 chances to score in the red zone at the end of the game and couldn't get it done. Haven't been the same since

Patriots lose in 2017: YES DYNASTY IS DEAD!!!!

Fun fact: Broncos also had an 11-5 season and missed the playoffs but not in a 12 team format. Hurts when an 8-8 or 9-7 team makes it and 11-5 misses

The late John Madden always said that the difference between winning and losing the Super Bowl was the biggest gap in sports, bigger than the World Series, Cup Finals, NBA Finals, gold/silver medals, etc. because of how much work goes into a football season. And that after the crushing disappointment of losing a Super Bowl it's hard to get that same edge back in time for the following season.

Patriots won 3 out of 4 years (2001-2004) then 3 out of 5 years (2014-2018). Two dynasties, same QB and coach. Absolutely legendary. Will never be repeated.

Between 2008 and 2017, the Falcons went to the playoffs 6 times. In 5 out of those 6 games, they lost to the eventual Super Bowl champions

I still haven't got over that damn interception Russell Wilson threw in the Super Bowl. It's like I have PTSD from a football game

Super Bowl LI was a franchise-crippling loss for the Falcons. Set us back 10 years at least, led to terrible contracts in a vain attempt to keep an average at best team together despite the knowledge that our above average coaching and scheme development is what got us there to begin with, most of whom departed the year after. Our front office got reactionary instead of being proactive and thinking ahead to begin building a more solid roster that could sustain itself while also attracting elite coaches to the organization.

Losing the Super Bowl breaks teams’ confidence in themselves to get it done. Just look at the 2015 Panthers to the 2016 team, they had a higher drop-off in regular season wins than most teams win regular season games. From 15-1 to 6-10, a -9 change

The Chiefs lost 27-24 not 24-21. Cmon guys, the game was yesterday! 🤣

Felt oddly sad seeing demaryius Thomas again doing what he did best. Rip to a legendary player

This makes what the Patriots did over 20 years so impressive.

After seeing how many Super Bowl losers didn’t make the playoffs the next year, I’m proud that the Falcons managed to make it back after arguably the most embarrassing SB loss ever. And the NFC South was super tough that year to boot
