Hello Aluxers! Who do you think are the best 5 people for your company?
The #1 App Rich People Use To Optimize Their Lives!

Most tech startups start with a builder because they see a problem they want to solve and they know how to do it. You can analyse and strategise all day but if you don’t have deep domain knowledge it will be fruitless. Operator then comes in to help build and solve operational issues. Afterwards they grow sales slowly when there is something to sell. This video sounds more like how business people want it to see. Like I’ve got my MBA and I want to build a business so I bring a builder to do it for me, but in reality what makes your business special is how the product is actually built. Ideas are cheap, execution is everything.

1) analyst - numbers, creates roadmap to achieve vision, you
2) operator - does critical things to free your time
3) builder - specialized expertise, product focused
4) seller - scales so you free up more your time
5) storyteller - branding, marketing-focused similar to seller
Bonus) big hire - solves bottlenecks, specialist

Well the reality of many companies:
- Egoistic CEO, maybe a rich kid
- Papa saves him by connecting him with other rich people
- New CEO comes in
- Rich kid gets a C-level job
- doesnt go well..
- CEO has to get someone who can build
- Rich kid want to talk into everything the builder is doing
- Builder builds and manages the rich kid while escalating all the issues to CEO
- CEO still needs the rich kid to be happy as his papa gives him good deals
- Builder either leaves or turns to Operation as rich kid really sucks at nearly everything..
- If it survives then in 1-3 years CEO is fed up with rich kid and created that special position
- Builder gets a proper vacation and finally can fully focus on building the product, they move the ops to new operation guy and get to have some fun

I completely disagree. You need just 2 people at macro level:
1. Hire a product or sales mananager. Who goes first? Depends on your startup model
2. Hire the one you didnt before

Analyst: INTJ / ENTJ
Operator: ISTJ /ESTJ
Builder: ISTP / ISFP (depends on the business, eg. technical or artistic)
Seller: ENTJ / ESTP / ESFJ (depends on business, eg. selling ideas or more "real" things)
Storyteller: ENFP
Big Hire: Completely depends on the Problem, but INFJ is a good guess for "Big Change" Situations. Sundar Pichai (Alphabet CEO) is INFJ.

This was an extremely powerful and intelligent tool. Thank you for sharing this. As a business owner, who has managed businesses for the last 20 years, I love how you broke this down. I built a national company with over a hundred thousand clients, and learning this in the beginning or near it would have been a game changer.
