That seems like a lot of weight for only an adhesive to be holding up? Would love to try this but am nervous my expensive timber would peel off posts after some weathering?

Has that power grab ever failed you? Is it worth me installing concrete posts and connecting the battens with the power grab instead of just using timber posts?

Watched this a few times ....great work.
I've seen other videos where they frame out in 3 x 2 and this gives more strength and the option of joining at the centre post between concrete posts meaning a cut every 3 instead of 2 which I think looks good. I noticed these lads put a spacer at the slat joins which I'm assuming is for expansion when the wood gets wet ?
I think I'm going to trust the bonding to the concrete posts as I'm afraid of cracking the concrete posts with masonry screws.
