Take away the diplomatic words, what he really meant was China’s threatening the petrol dollar, high tech industries and the hegemony of the USA, therefore they must be brought down.

Our media didn’t mention million of people are moving from Hong Kong, Taiwan or western countries to China to find jobs, especially young graduates.
They also didn’t mention Chinese mainland increased water supply to Taiwan to ease drought in Taiwan and Taiwanese people received free vaccinations for Covid-19 in China.
"Russia invades Ukraine at the same time as China attacks Taiwan" - Isn't that nothing more than wishful thinking?
“One of the basic lessons of foreign policy is that you don't march on Moscow, and you do not bluff Beijing. If you do, your bluff is always, at some point, going to be caught."

Rules based order? What total bs is this. The US invaded Iraq illegally n they speak of rules? Whose rules? USA's indecent n immoral rules or the World's rules on peace n harmony?

‘Rules-based world’ order, whose rules are Blinken referring to? During the Alaska summit, there Chinese made it clear that they would always abide by the UN approved rules, not those US unilaterally set rules. Typical examples are: invasion of Iraq, sanctions against Iran, sanctions against Venezuela etc. China only spent enough on military to defend itself and to safe-guard its live-line of shipping lanes, therefore they only spent a quarter of that of the US, not because it couldn’t afford to spend more, it’s because it doesn’t feel necessary to spend more. When 300 ICBM nuclear warheads is sufficient for deterrence, why bother with thousands? When one can defend 1000 kilometres of territory from home, why waste money to reach 10, 000 kilometres away from home? Who is the aggressor?
