BMW M4 onboard almost Crash Nürburgring Nordschleife

Was having a nice and not pushy ride with my friend, this happened at Breidscheid.
As you hear from the tires, I was a bit aggressive on the brake. Maybe I turned in too quickly while the car was still light in the rear axle, maybe a bit too much pressure on rear tires. Maybe both.
Thankful for analyzing tips. Glad I didn’t crash into the barrier there 😅

Fairly obvious what happened here. Gotta be a tiny wee bit more gentle on the steering wheel turning in when still being on the brakes.

Handled really well. I’m no expert, but if you were still on the brakes, there wouldn’t have been a save. Looks like the rear was still unsettled from releasing brakes too quickly?

Great save, i think it was not brakes just a bit too agressive in the steering but is good to learn from mistakes !

If you entered a turn at wrong angle/speed don't try to fix it by turning wheel harder or adding earlier/more throttle because it cannot be fixed.

I would love to own an M4 but it scares me how twitchy it can get, it's a beast that can't be easily tamed.

Absolutely nothing bad happening here. Controlled environment, alert driver, and a well set up car.
Greasy AR-1 on a hot day can be a bitch sometimes. :D

For me he just lifted the brake pedal too fast, then lost his front tires grip. There is no gas, so no cars tend to power slide. Steering inputs like this tends to cause cars to go more understeer and more traction, just look at Alonso technic and other pro drivers.
