Credit to BMW for building this thing the way they did. Glad everyone is okay. You can replace a car, you can't replace a person ❤

Ridiculous that the Nurburgring won’t allow you to show the crash footage. As if people don’t know it’s a dangerous track, stuff like that should be available for people to see to learn from.

Hey Misha, first of all, glad both of you made it out alive and look in good shape. My team and I specialize in BMW tuning and coding and are happy to help with anything needed at restoring the car. We are based in Poland, Netherlands(right on the border of Germany) and in UK, so wherever the car is, we’re happy to help.
No publicity needed, hencewhy im not writing this comment from our company page. We are genuinely interested in this project and will be glad to assist you :)

Oldest saying in racing, “drive fast enough, long enough…you’re going to wreck”. Period.

Everybody complains about the weight of new cars, until you put one in the wall.
Do this with an E30 and you’re long gone

Good decision to go to a hospital. I’ve just learnt about a broken (and healed) vertebrate in my neck and stretched spinal cord canal. According to my doctor. it was at the verge of serious consequences. My all riding/driving accidents, which could have caused it, happened many years earlier and I always felt well afterwards, so I’ve never gone to a hospital.

Now is a good time to reflect on all the older, not so safe, or maybe questionably maintained cars you've driven at the limit, with full trust, and passengers/owners on board. It truly was only a matter of time, and youre lucky it wasnt worse.

You put so much trust in other people's builds. I couldn't go flat out in some random vehicle without testing. It's like going into battle with an untested rifle.
