Better Call Saul is the prequel to the award-winning series Breaking Bad, set six years before Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) became Walter White's lawyer. When we meet him, the man who will become Saul Goodman is known as Jimmy McGill, a small-time lawyer searching for his destiny, and, more immediately, hustling to make ends meet. This felt like the first genuine time Jimmy accepted and recognized that Chuck was dead. It felt like this was the first time he'd thought and spoken about him in years.

I love how when Jimmy is talking about everything else he's lost he sounds fake as hell but the moment he mentions his "brother" he looks/sounds dead serious

Another shining example of Jimmy letting out his genuine pain in the context of a con so he doesn't have to reflect on his emotions. Love this damn character so much.

Crazy how he only brings up Chuck are
1) at the bar hearing to manipulate them
2) when he talks to Cheryl at Howard’s wake
3) this time to manipulate Gerry/terry/Jerry/Larry

This episode is a masterpiece. And as a Nebraska fan, it’s hilarious that I know exactly what players/coaches/games they’re talking about.

The moment he fell i actually felt like the operation was going to fail, its great how the writers, the actors, the ambientation are able to make you feel like you are part of the scene.

It’s saddest part about this is that while Gene / Jimmy was trying to distract the security guard he wasn’t lying when he said that he has no one and that everyone will either not care or forget that he existed when he dies. he is like he said a ghost. the heist and blackmailing Jeff will probably the only time he will ever feel like Saul Goodman again

I love the little dramatic _No_ Jeff delivers when looking at the cashmere. Pat Healy plays him really well, I hope he has a happy ending in spite of Gene's relapsing, I've grown to really like the guy.

In spite of what Gene is doing here, I believe that every word that he said to the officer is genuine. His best friend Marco is dead, Chuck was burned alive, and Kim left him. He has no more loved ones.
