How many years will it take you, Mr. O’Neill, to realize that Erik Ten Hag is not the right manager for Manchester United? You’ve been very supportive of Ten Hag, but I don’t understand what value you see in him. Managing a team is not about parenting the players; it’s about implementing techniques, tactics, and developing new skills. He lacks the ability to coach players effectively, though he does possess qualities that make him a good disciplinarian, much like a father figure. However, being a disciplinary figure is not enough to be a successful coach or manager. We need a talented manager, not a an excellent disciplinary father.
