First words of the Indian Civilization.

I was reading about the history of fire and how humans viewed the very first technological innovation in their history and stumbled upon this. This is the first hymn taken from the very first ancient scripture of the Indian Civilizations, the first text of the Dharma, Rigveda. It was written and compiled between 2000 to 1500 BC in the Punjab region of South Asia.
This particular hymn is dedicated to Agni, the fire deity venerated especially during the Vedic period. Agni is also considered the very personification of fire.

Regarding the contentions over the Indo-Aryan origins. I have posted based on what I have known so far (keyword: so far), I wasn't aware of the credibility of the Out of India Hypothesis, my understanding so far was of a slow and continuous migration of the Aryas here. Regardless, I shall improve on my reading, any mistakes in the translation of the hymn will be appreciated.

Arya is not a ethnic or racial term. It's a Sanskrit word which means noble. People whose social conduct is noble/good is called Arya.🧐👍

It's Indigenous Arya, It doesn't belong to the Barbarians of Europe who keep appropriating other cultures. The Indian people were great scholars, warrior and traders. They migrated to the other part of the world. That's why you we can see indian cultural tracess in Southeast Asia and central Asia. Aryan is not a race. Arya in Sanskrit means noble. Hinduism wasn't brought by any foreign invaders. Hinduism existed in Bharat for millenniums.

This Agni Mantra is not the oldest because we can see this mantra in the 1st mandala. Whereas mandala 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, oldest than mandala 1, 5, 8, 9, 10.
So it was written 7000 years ago.

Vedas are very subtle and esoteric.

South Asia has been a land that has seen tonnes of migrations and invasions over the years. But the beauty of this part of the world is that, every foreign interaction only influenced us, it never uprooted our past and made us completely subservient to something foreign
Aryans did come to India from Central Asia, and before that, Dravidians came to India from Western Iran.
But in both these migrations, whatever was pre existing in the South Asian subcontinent has always persevered.
We have cultural practices going as far back as the Indus Valley Civilization happening even today. We also have extremely old languages like the Great Andamanese languages and old Austroasiatic ones which pre date the Aryan and Dravidian languages by thousands of years. This proves that South Asia has always preserved its past well and allowed it to flourish into the future. We don't have the 'destroy and replace mentality', we have the 'mix and create new out of the old' kind of mentality. So yeah, no need to become insecure just because you hear that Aryans migrated to India.
