It's just a video-quotemine.

What Verlinde explained is, that Newton had to assume a force, based on his observations and wasn't happy about that.
Ignoring the fact, that he also said, that Newtons laws DO APPLY on earth.
Ans of course he also ignores, that Verlinde himself has created a hypothesis, explaining how gravity could function, not if it exists, because that's a fact already.

This guy here is just dishonestly, or stpdly misrepresenting a scientist.

In reality GRAVITY is a concocted and conjured force, power or thing that originates from assumption and SUPPOSITION which produce descriptions of said assumption and SUPPOSITION!! That's why GRAVITY ITSELF HASN'T one IOTA of PRESENCE or SUBSTANCE of ITSELF to DIRECTLY DETECT, IDENTIFY, ISOLATE or HARNESS!! GRAVITY IS FAKE/INTANGIBLE!!
