Saskatchewan woman wins Canada’s Got Talent and is congratulated in the Legislature

Saskatchewan woman Rebecca Strong has won Canada's Got Talent, becoming the first Indigenous woman to win the title and a $1 million prize. The 20-year-old, a member of the Black Lake Denesuline First Nation, was congratulated in the Saskatchewan Legislature. The Federation of Sovereign Indigenous Nations congratulated her on social media, stating she made Turtle Island proud. Strong was introduced to the Legislature after winning the Golden Buzzer in the semifinals.
