Hello everyone! Today we continue with Episode 5 of my "Coin Roll Hunting Pennies for Copper Series." We start off with a brief intro, cracking open the box and searching for copper cents, wheat cents, foreign cents, etc. Made multiple additions to my album as well as a ton of copper cents that I added to my hoarding bucket.

Wow, what a terrific hunt. The 1925 and especially the 1930 S were excellent finds. I hope you do another penny box soon.

Nice score on that 1930 S, reminds me of the beautiful 1925 S my mother dug on one of her first outings

Yeah, I don't search penny boxes, but I do keep all of my pre-'82 American pennies and pre-'97 Canadian pennies. I try to use cash exclusively so that I'm always adding to the hoard each month. Every 3 or 4 months, my son and I will take in our excess change to the bank. Most of the time, we get at least $400+, and we typically turn that into Silver and/or Gold. Cool video!

I liked the find, but I would have liked to see that Bahama penny in addition to the other coins you kept.

I'm on the west coast so tend to find a lot more Denver cents. Still need to fill a lot of my Philadelphia slots even the newer dated ones seem hard to come by.

a 1937 s in a good find this days. I
n my line of work i deal with too many wrecked cars coming and going to auction, always check for the copper pennies, even found a 1910, is amazing how many wheat cents still around!

Use a putty knife 🔪 and save the box for reuse for the copper ones.
