It’s not impossible for men, just comparatively more difficult than it is for women. The reason why is because women generally have a low and wider center of gravity, making them more stable. As a result, they have better leverage at this angle.

It is NOT impossible as it can be done if you have really strong leg muscles or a slightly different body type to the 'normal' male body. Can definitely be done by some men though so saying it's not possible at all is completely wrong.
