Despite the win, Detroit lost Aidan Hutchinson to what is likely a season-ending leg injury, a major blow to their defense in a competitive NFC North race with the Minnesota Vikings, Green Bay Packers, and Chicago Bears all sitting above .500.

Running game wasn’t much better last year

DQ was the difference maker and was able to bandage up alot of the issues

It doesn’t help that they went up against team that was great both sides of the ball and has great coaching. The lions are a team to be feared rn, they got big weapons on offense and big weapons on defense.

I see some saying the cowboys defense was crippled due to a few players being out, but even if the defense was better and the lions didn’t get 2-3 of those TD they’d still win 26-9! They had an offense that couldn’t be stopped and a defense that could stop the cowboys. That’s a hard combo to beat even when it’s the same for you.
