I was born in West Virginia but dad gave up coal mining when I was in elementary school and moved away. That was 50 years ago. I'm happy to say that I'm back home now, moved to West Virginia 10 days ago.

When I was preggy with my daughter I had a lot of panic attacks, every time I had those episodes, I often hyperventilated. Boys, what a Blessing you are. This absolutely took my breath away. My grandparents lived in WV, Green Sulphur and Meadow Bridge. Grew up in Ohio, but All my childhood holidays and summer vacations were spent with cousins running the hills n cricks and 'the glades' in the woods. Recently took my brother back to be laid to rest in the old family cemetery, and someday my ashes will be scattered there.
This makes my heart ache with loss as well as the most wonderful memories. words can't express how thankful I am for what you've done with an old family fave song. ~May your days be good and long upon the earth~

This song was released when I was at university. As I traveled home for the holidays I would sing it at the top of my lungs, headed home to family in south Alabama, tears streaming down my face. The family is all gone now as is our country home, but the memories are as sweet as this song. Thanks guys for lending your voices. JD would be proud.
