Today I revisit the iPhone 12 Pro Max. It's been about a year since I made a guide for replacing the screen, and it was shot on my cell phone. That repair was my first ever iPhone 12 series replacement, this is probably my 500th or so. Links to parts and tools below:

took my phone into a repair shop to get the screen replaced and was quoted $350. I said screw that, bought a screen on amazon for $65 and did it myself in 30 minutes. thanks for the great video!

I’ve watched this video and it’s amazing was my first time replacing the screen on my own and I’d never pay a repair shop again absolutely outstanding

I bought a fairly high quality screen for my 12 pro max for $110. I don’t know if it’s just a newer iOS thing but I just threw it on and it never said anything about using an aftermarket screen and my True Tone still works(not that I care because I leave it off). Super happy with it, glad it was an easier repair. I remember changing out iPod touch 4th gen screens like crazy in high school and those sucked. Replaced a handful of iPhone 6 screens too and also were much harder than this.

Fix an iPhone is so easy lol had to check and make sure the inside looked the same as iPhone 6. Since I’ve never replaced a 12 pro max before.

Hi! Thank you for this video. I wonder if there's a smaller screwdriver set recommendation that's specifically for iPhone 12 Pro Max. (I see your recommendation in the bio but I don't think I'll need that many of them)

Hi, thank you so much for the detailed video, managed to replace my daughters broken screen, everything is working perfectly now as before, used an aftermarket replacement screen but didn’t get a pop up message to say it was non-genuine.

amazing video with funny comments. What's the name of the heater you used to soften the adhesives, or a link to buy it? I can use it for multiple jobs.

I've never replaced a screen before. But I'm relatively handy with repairs in general for similar applications. Would you say this is easy enough for a first timer?

I’ve fixed thousands of phone literally. Watched this only because proximity sensor wouldn’t lay perfectly flat for me so I was hoping you’d touch on that or have trouble with it lol. After messing with it for 30 min to lay flat, I’m gonna put it back together and test proximity sensor

What screw driver set are you using in the video? They seem more durable than think link you have of the set in your description

So no adhesive on the screen? No heating needed? Did you disassemble it already?

Always get the oled screens if you want your iPhone to work as well as the original . In cell screens is trash and down grades your phones.
