While I don't endorse any particular communal group, I believe their actions stem from the absence of Bhindranwala. If the police are truly patriotic, why do they salute corrupt leaders? During Bhindranwala's lifetime, no police force dared challenge him. Now, they remove his flags after his death, which is not bravery. They should politely request tourists to remove the flags, explaining the historical context. Their current approach is unnecessarily aggressive. They seem to forget the large number of Himachali laborers in Punjab. If Punjabi tourists are treated poorly, it could lead to communal tension affecting Himachali workers here. We should prioritize secularism and the nation, not personal religious ego...
