I think there should be an official celebration every year between our Caribbean cousins & us Irish, like a cultural exchange. Maybe around St. Patrick's Day, but a day given especially to our island nations.

I was in jamaica many years ago and noticed the jamaican name for T.shirt(top) is geansai".. that is the Irish name for jumper ( top) ...theres a lot of similarities between carribean and Irish accent of the English language too ...

In the 1600s in Ireland the population was 1, 500, 000 Cromwell killed 600, 000 men women and children and sent 300, 000 as slaves all over the world. A lot of them were sent to Carribean Islands and mixed with African slaves, Irish people were being sold as slaves up to 1829. In 1741 a famine in Ireland killed 300, 000, in the 1840s famine killed 1, 500, 000 and 2, 200, 000 were forced to flee Ireland. You can see how much the British loved us.

Love your reaction, you should react to Irish heritage in the Caribbean. Irish people were forced to flee from Ireland because of great britain and a lot ended up in the likes of Jamaica. All the white people in Jamaica are descendants of Irish people 😊

Great video Mr giant. It's amazing how similar the Jamaican accent is to the accents in ireland(especially cork and kerry). A lot of Irish and people from the carribean became great friends over here in England... And still are😂👍

I love Africans, Carribbeans, African Americans <3 I'm Irish. Right now that Ireland has more jobs and money, we have a big influx of Africans moving here, they are welcome, fun loving, and laid back, its the perfect mix, well the Irish women are happier anyhow ;). Bob Marley is my favourite, also all African American music, I always preferred, hey Mr Giant I love your show, its that laid back West Indies accent.

A GREAT reaction video on a fascinating subject. A GREAT video.

As for the "boring" tag put on the physicist who developed the first color photography and radiology for cancer, I think that was some humor based on many people seeing scientists as boring...which is an unfortunate human trait, wherever it exists.
