this was such a difficult concept for me to understand, you helped me get it in 7 minutes. missing small pieces of information like this can really make people start to question where they stand in a class or major when they don't need too. thank you!

I am failing my online class because the video the college made are terrible. You are an incredible guy. I really appreciate your skill and your dedication to teach. I am grateful for your help. Phillipians 4:13 is an incredible scripture. Thank you

Great videos Sir. Just a very minor critique, your intro is significantly louder than the lesson audio and the contrast is almost deafening lol. As for the content, let's just say I don't need to attend my lectures :)

Note for anyone watching this that will probably take strength of materials/mechanics of materials/solids (all the same course, different names) you need this info and the rest of the info in statics so don't forget it over winter/summer break between semesters.

Professor Hanson, this lecture really showed the Cartesian Coordinates in all four quadrants and how to write the correct equations. DR. Hanson these missed topics in Statics really help.

A cool trick to determine whether to use sin or cos when resolving is to look at your vector, and if the direction you are trying to resolve in has you go through your angle then it's cos, whilst if it has you moving away use sin, easy way to remember this '' Turn away from your sins'' for sin.

I like the mnemonic 'i-hat, j-hat, & k-hat' identifiers you've developed. One certainly has to pay strict attention to his/her arithmetic and these will be time savers.

I literally asked my professor how to tell when to use sign or cosine in these situations and could not a good answer.
