I'm thinking about my marriage. Boy this is tough to swallow. I know in my heart the Lord chose my husband for me. In the beginning of his walk with the Lord, he was on fire. Now he has backslidden. Oh how many times have I thought of divorce. I can't do it because I love Jesus and I want to obey my Father in heaven. I pray and fast alot for my husband. He us in the world.

We have to keep in mind that women at that time weren't able to survive without a husband, so that's why Jesus says here "...makes her commit adultery": he knew, the divorced wife would have to marry again.

When he says if your wife commits adultery to divorce her is that the same for a man then ? If he does the same? Or is a wife not meant to go ahead with a divorce? The role of a man yes but is it meant also if a woman divorced a man for that reason ?

If you wife of husband cheats on you in your face, forgive her, but if he/she do it again, forgive him/her. But if he/she do it again, you are just degrading yourself. You shared your temple with someone who shares his/her temple with others. For me, the verse tells you what you understand. Divorce your wife only if she is unfaithful.

Fortnification and adultery are 2 different things you can't combine them otherwise why would the commands say that no foreigner nor adulteress will inherit the kingdom

This is the most forced explanation I have ever heard. Patoto, potahto… Clearly forbids marrying a divorced woman which is not very appealing in this age, is it? Even if you hate your spouse and he or she behaves terribly to you, you are not allowed to divorce them? Should we wait for them to cheat on us somehow?
