I've touched 147 KMPH on the bike (91 MPH) here in India. Proud owner since more than 10 years.

After 3.5 years and over 30K miles. I put a big toolbox on mine for storage; My cbr250r has treated me well so far.

Great review. I have a 2011 CBR 250 R and have loved every moment of riding on its saddle.
This motorcycle is an absolute legend!

I bought one with 50k kms on it as a daily alternative to my fuel guzzling 4x4. No one ever mentions the weak headlight on reviews. I was spoiled in the past with awesome headlights on a CBR1000f. My ebike probably has better lights than my CBR250. I get a few false neautrals and it doesn't always set off traffic lights which can be annoying but overall its a fun, reliable bike that has decent power for a 250 single. Im 62 now but it still brings out the teenager inside me.

I live in Asia and I've been her for 10 years. Here in Asia 125cc is the standard. I learned on a 150cc. I've test ridden various bikes now ranging I think up to 400cc. Today I test rode the cbr 250rr and it was quite a step up for me. I know Americans be like what 250 is a step up? But seriously here in Asia higher displacement bikes are not the standard. I think going straight to 600 you lose something that you get working your way up. Thanks for the review. I'm set on buying it now!

As a fellow 🇬🇷 CBR250R owner I must say...Great in depth review man, all of your points are valid and give us a clear view of what to expect out of this bike. Sure, its performance is not something that will scare you but its handling makes it so fun to ride... Definitely not a bike you would keep forever though.

i own the black knight one. eventhough the newest cbr 250RR one looks so cool and aggresive, i still prefer this one .

In the UK ther traffic is so dense, we have so many speed cameras & average speed check zones there's little point owning a high performance bike so smaller bikes make more sense truth be told. I'm at the stage (at age 57) where I can enjoy any bike for what it is & what it can do instead of focussing on what they are not and what they can't do, this came across really well in your review, nice work...

Your comment about the Grom is spot on, I have a bigger bike and grom as my secondary and the grom is a blast! Also great review on the CBR 250 also looking to grab one for my partner to learn on.

I've been riding 20yrs, owned five CBR600f, a CBR1000rr Fireblade. I just bought myself this CBR250R few months ago, absolutely love it!! I wish the motorcycling world stop calling low cc bikes as beginners bikes.

I'm thinking of getting one, I currently own a 2007 CBR125r which is an awesome little commuter bike but unfortunately not strong enough for 2 passengers going up hills. I would love to own a cbr250r or the 300, I used to have a crf250L and it was amazing! The CBR and CRF share the same engine. Little tip, if you want more responsive brakes you have to upgrade to braided steel brake lines.
