New York police arrest Columbia campus protesters

Officers took protesters into custody after Columbia University called in police to end the pro-Palestinian occupation on the New York campus. FOX31's Talya Cunningham shows the scene on Tuesday night.

I think the whole problem here is that people don't realize there are consequences for their actions. If you launch a sneak attack on a country that's bigger than you, causing lots of deaths, the consequence of those actions is going to be that the initial aggressor is going to get their butt whooped. The idea that you won't be held accountable for your actions is absurd and based in fiction. The same principal goes for those who break the law. If you are illegally occupying a space and are asked to leave and don't, you invite the actions required to remove your defiant self out of that space to be exercised upon yourself. Especially if you were warned of the potential of harm and given multiple opportunities to save yourself from experiencing that possibility of harm.
