As a late 18 and into my early 20s, I became a big fan of John Denvers music. This song “today“ is one of my most favourites of which I sing to this very day even in my mid-60s I’ve always loved his music. It always had so much meaning to what words were said! I am so grateful to have been A big fan of his. My mom became a true fan of his as well. I was grateful that the two of us were able to go see him at the same time. Although it was only the one concert, we were able to see him live. He was a great showman, and could keep the entire audience, gripping onto every word he saying. So glad we had the opportunity, ! Such a great guy. Miss him to this day! I know my mom is looking down upon me as I am sending this email. I know without any uncertainty that she felt the same way and Always sang his songs as well. “God bless, You always Mum”!!!…😢❤

In my village every time there's a birthday party people will gather to the birthday celebrant and sing this song, until this day they still doing it so early in the morning and after that, the host will let them in and gather to feast!
