Prior to the opening round of the 2020 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, Dustin Johnson warms up on the range.


The 2019-20 PGA TOUR Season continues as Phil Mickelson returns to the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am hoping to defend his title after winning for a record-tying fifth time last year. Mickelson will face a stellar field at Pebble Beach Golf Links, the host course and one of three players compete on in the tournament. Hoping to take the top spot are fellow past winners Dustin Johnson, Brandt Snedeker, and Jordan Spieth. Despite being the oldest winner in tournament history at 48, can Mickelson retain his crown? With 500 FedExCup points up for grabs, only one player can come out on top.

OMG I'M TRIPPING OUT! GUYS! I just noticed something that I feel like is so mind blowing about DJ's swing. Look at the TOE of his club. It NEVER stops pointing straight forward, as it was at address. Look at every other golfer, the toe of the club ROTATES AWAY from it's starting position and then rotates back. DJ literally keeps his club head oriented in the same exact position throughout his swing, only rotating his BODY not his CLUB FACE! I cannot wait to try this tomorrow. He is hacking golf. I remember in an interview years ago he said "I don't know why everyone makes it so complicated, I just keep the club square the whole time." I finally get that. wow

The swing I want. Power plus finesse and with beguiling ease and the most athletic of his contemporaries. Despite all the tour wins he really has underachieved. Should have won more majors.
