This is the same game DannyLondon (and a couple others) and I used to play...he called it Opposite challenging....we even tried it in Indirect style....the biggest difference I see is that in your version, you keep altering ours, if you made your shot on your opponents ball, your turn continued, so opponent had to tap the cue ball to give it back...
