Multiplication Tricks for Kids | 9 Times Table | How to multiply by the number 9 for kids

How to multiply by number 9? Some kids know how to count quickly in mind to bring the right answers for number nine times table, but some find it difficult and always search for a trick. We have a trick that only depends on the fingers to help the kids to know and memorize number 9 times table.
Multiplication tricks will usually depend on the number that the child is learning. In this educational video, number nine is the one focused on and the trick is considered the easiest because kids will immediately know and remember what they are supposed to do.
Let the kids spread their both hands and fingers in front of them and number those fingers from 1 to 10 - this method is only used to teach the kids the multiplication times table for number nine from one to ten only, which is the basic. All what the kid will do is bend the finger they are going to multiply by 9 and the ones placed will reveal the answer but it is not going to be about counting the number of fingers spread but will be about translating these fingers to numbers. For example, bending the first finger will reveal the answer for the equation 9x1=9, bending the second finger for the equation of 9x2 will be translated into two parts: the first number before the bent finger which is 1 and the rest of the fingers after the one bent which is 8 and this means the 9x2=18, etc.
Kids are not supposed to depend on calculators at an early age or when they are still in the initial steps of their learning journey and that's why these tricks are useful because they help the kids with doing their calculations and finding their answers in the middle of the way if they faced any obstacles and problems.
