You are the most capable trail rider of electric unicycles I've seen. Can't wait to see what you think of this wheel.

Great video Chooch. I can't wait to see your street AND trail videos. I'm mostly looking forward to the S18 for trails.

As prototype King Song S18s were passed out to content creators to be tested and reviewed, electric unicycle enthusiasts started to question some design and functionality features. Fortunately, these concerns were about a prototype,  so King Song listened and addressed them.
Here is a list of changes and improvements on the production model King Song S18:

Adjustable Pedal -Structural: The pedals are adjustable allowing riders to lower the platform by 2cm. This allows riders of different heights to have better control and increased comfort levels on the S18.

Mudguard- Back fender: Previous mudguard was secured by glue and one screw. The final production is secured by a total of 3, one on each shell and one in between with the addition of glue.

Tiring rubbing noise: Some prototypes experienced a rubbing noise issue. The tire we used on prototype is a little bit wider than massive production, and the mainboard holder tubes had some errors, so the tire might be pushed to one side and scratched the body shell. We’ve adjusted the moldings/dimensions to eliminate these issues.

Wobbliness: Users experienced issues where the wheel would wobble when braking. After testing we eliminated the issue being suspension related but was rather padding related. Users could not grip the wheel when braking hard, we have since increased the PU pad thickness from 4mm to 12mm.

Top of wheel hurting inner knee: The padding was not thick enough causing the knee to interact with the harder elements of the wheel. Final production will have increased the PU pad thickness from 4mm to 12mm.

Body shell: Some users experienced the case not being durable enough when crashing. We started using a material with more flexibility causing it to be less brittle. ABS+PC.

Outer shells popping off: Users experienced the white body panels coming off when crashing, we have increased the thickness of the clips so they don’t come off as easily.

Handle: Sometimes the trigger button gets stuck, we’ve added a crystal silicon logo above the button to create a uniform force downwards.

Steel Slide: To increase the durability of our suspension we have changed the sliders from aluminum to steel. The steel is treated to protect it against elements.

Suspension support frame: Suspension support frame is changed from space grey to gold.

Padding durability: We have changed the material for the padding so it doesn’t rub off as easily.

Chooch, that wheel is badass! With the looks and the ride. Loved you riding, styling, across that stream. I very much like the relative light weight of this wheel. Even though its at the cost of range. I wanted a longer range wheel, yet they get sooo heavy. The Sherman, for instance, is a bitchin wheel, yet at 77 pounds, its a no go for me. Most of the longer range wheels are near 60 pounds. So, if I accept a reduction in range for weight savings, I will probably need more than one charger. I want my next wheel to have two chargers. One low amp charger for long, at home, charging (for longer lifetime battery use), and a higher/high amp charger to carry on rides for that much needed top charge. I have AC plugs mapped out over much of my riding area. My last ride was 33 miles, on my old, yet renewed, V8. Three charge periods of about 45 minutes each were needed. I've only used my OEM 1A charger, so slow charging is it. Over the last year and 2100 miles, I believe that the slow charging has allowed the batteries to keep most to almost all of their original performance. I still can charge to 84.74V. Same as when the wheel was new. Anyway, I want to see as many videos and a comprehensive review as you can make. Peace from Maine...Guy

“Get some numbers”, CHOOCH. Honestly, you should have been the first in America to receive this wheel, since off roading is your playground. This review will be a epic man v. wheel. I will be tuned in. Many Thanks

Hey Chooch, I'm really digging this wheel. I'm worried about how high the pedals are and whether that makes cornering more dangerous or if it's really not a problem. Would really appreciate you talking about that in your future review :)

Also really stoked that you and JC are gonna collab. His channel is how I found out about EUCs in the first place

Looks great, pity kingsongs still won’t go any faster than 30 m/h.

Looking forward to your review of the veteran sherman, when do you expect to be getting the wheel?

Is there a chance you’ll be reviewing the demo Sherman?

I destroyed my KS16X as my first wheel, this thing would have screamed for mercy! Though it should be a perfect second wheel... just barely not enough range for me though..
